Do people really think there is a tape of Trump saying the N word that someone is sitting on?

All that matters to them is they they “believe” the tape exists. That is enough evidence for them to actually think it exists.
Even with zero evidence there is a tape, they are throwing speculation and innuendo into the public in order to form some sort of narrative that appears as reality.

If they want Trump saying the N word, Trump should give them the N word. He can hold a press conference with Kanye and they can say "My n***a" to each other and then embrace.

It's certainly possible that a tape, if it exists, is out there somewhere and just wasn't found prior to the 2016 election. While it's unlikely, there certainly is that chance.

No, some of it is fresh. Like yesterday he called Omarosa a 'dog'. She is female. A female dog is a bitch. So, he called a black woman a bitch. So, he's a racist. And therefore, he wants to start a race war (according to ABC news yesterday). So, conspiring to start a race war is an impeachable offense.
