The cult’s founder however was an evil piece of Shiite.

quote:If you understand Islam in the slightest, you know that Muhammad’s personal beliefs would be irrelevant, because the principle tenet of the religion is that Muhammad did not originate any concept found in the Qur’an, but that the words were simply dictated to him by God.
So just to be clear: you think Mohammed was a good guy who is being misinterpreted by his followers?
I am not saying that I personally accept this belief, only that I understand it.
From an historical perspective, was Muhammad a “good man” by today’s Western standards? No. He was simply a fairly-typical political leader in his time and place in history. Not much better or worse than dozens of his contemporaries. Simply more successful.

I can’t not believe this shite is being said here in America, Muslims are not mentally adept to at least try and blend with with western cultures

We are still waiting to hear what it is about mo-hommed that makes you think it would be out of character for him to compel his sheep to kill in his name.

I should point out that now he's going with "ignore" as his tactic.
Like I need him to respond in order to continue to call his DailyKos self out

That is a shame, because a potential Muslim Reformation is an interesting topic.
Not really.
When Christians decided to kill in the name of religion, they pretty much had to contort to do it because literally NOTHING in Jesus' life, behavior, or teachings could be pointed to in support of such behavior.
"Reform" simply required people say, "maybe we ought to act more like Jesus".
Muslims have no such benefit. For them, "reform" means effectively rebuking the whole fricking reason their religion exists in the first place!

Most aficionados of the DailyKos and other lefty kook sites do!

Hank you do understand that there is a “preview “ button next to the submit button....
Start using it so you don’t look like such a lying moron.

Odd.
He was a political leader in a tumultuous time and place in history. At the time of the Sword Verse, he and his followers were engaged in a war with neighboring groups. Of course he expected his followers to kill their enemies. What an odd question.

Remember this is the same dick that loathes Trump.....
If it were merely Trump hate that drove him, he wouldn't consistently try to steer pretty much ALL debate away from conservative viewpoints that existed long before Trump arrived on the political scene.
Hell. Shapiro doesn't like Trump but it didn't suddenly cause him to be anti-ALL Republican stuff.
Hank is simply someone in here trying to steer conversations in a way that suits him while pretending he isn't what he is.

But his followers found his personal beliefs
Irrelevant?
Irrelevant?

Now replace Mohammed with the name “Adolph” and make the same excuses and arguments.

I cannot “prove” my history, and neither can you, rendering pointless a three page exchange that will amount to little more than “nanny nanny poo poo.”
So, yes, I will continue ignoring those references.

Perhaps I need to link Hank trying to slip thru a DailyKos writer's shite while doing:
1. Lying about the writer having said it MANY times over the years
2. Hank ORIGINALLY posting the quote as if it were a primary quote
3. Hank finally naming the writer but NOT sourcing him and saying there was "no reason" not to take the writer as honest re:Trump
4. Citing a writer who routinely writes for the DailyKos and is pretty much all-anti-Trump all the time.
5. Failing to respond to the obvious point that the writer "remembered" a quote from a fricking DEAD MAN who died six years earlier...........and the quote supposedly happened HUNDREDS of times.............yet..........the fricking anti-Trump full time writer didn't recall it during the campaign........didn't recall it immediately after Trump was elected..........but A YEAR frickING LATER!!!!
And THAT is what Hank wants to call being the voice of reason on the board and not being a hack!
