Why don't liberals "get" memes?

They must be memetically challenged for some genetic reason.

I've been thinking that it's something science should investigate. Not only do most of them just not "get" memes, they're also wholly incapable of crafting them. Any time I see a leftist attempt at memeography, it's the worst shite ever. The essence of try-harderation.

You'd think that after losing the election due to memes, they'd've enlisted an army of meme artisans to buttfrick the right with their own poison, but they haven't done shite. It must be because they just mentally can't meme.

I think it's because fundamentally they have no senses of humor. They are all miserable and want everyone else to be miserable.

The idea of having fun or being playful is impossible when you go out of your way to be offended and outraged by everything.

The liberal commentariat may not, but considering that the modern meme was basically pioneered by people who are currently 30-somethings, saying that "liberals don't get memes" strikes me as vastly overbroad.
