Why doesn’t Trump just send the NG to NOLA, Jackson and Memphis?

I am guessing that he has several cities on a list, but they don't have the manpower to handle all at once.

I would be BEGGING him. It’s the only way Landry could win a second term at this point.

The Louisiana State Government, counting our governor, lacks the brains and the manpower to fix New Orleans from a security standpoint. Look at the cluster frick that happened when they tried to do New Years Eve and the Sugar Bowl.

There needs to be a mission and a plan.

The NG probably needs a warm up in Chicago before it takes on the gangsters in Jackson MS. And that's not a joke. The lightweights in Chicago and Detroit get their gear from the pipe hitters down here in Jackson. We've got warlords and checkpoints and shite.

And I only call him out as a pissy to HOPE he might accept the help from Trump.

Every predominantly black city in America has a major gun violence problem. It’s an epidemic among these communities. The problem is that the optics would make it look like it’s racial. Selecting Democratic controlled cities in democratic controlled states is a smart play to prove the point that gun violence can be greatly reduced with proper policing.

I’m fine if they come to NOLA, Shreveport and BRLA.

It’s my understanding that the NG presence in the tourist areas of DC have freed up the DC cops to do actual policing.

NOLA is embarrassing

Simply enforce the laws already passed n the books or make them harsher;
Felon in possession 25 yrs min
Possession of a stolen gun 25 yrs min
Possession of an obliterated ser# 25 yrs min
Those people will be locked up long enough to reduce crime. DA’s plead the above crimes down way too often and send the thugs back on the streets to commit more crime.

Does NOLA, Jackson or Memphis have 50 to 60 people being shot every weekend? It's a slight of hand argument where per capita is used to label other cities as more dangerous because no one really wants to address the war zone that is Chicago. Hell, Birmingham is dangerous too, with 151 murders last year. However, in terms of sheer numbers they don't scratch the surface of a weekend in Chicago. So as a matter of size and scale, you don't need the NG in Birmingham or a Memphis, but in a city the size of Chicago, the extra man power would certainly help.
