Kemp is not going to pardon Trump because he does not have the authority to do so.
quote:

Universal Citation: GA Code § 42-9-56 (2020) The Governor shall have no authority or power whatever over the granting of pardons or paroles.

Does Georgia allow for it like Florida does? I kinda doubt it but don't know (have not read this thread)

I don't know. That's partly why I started the thread.

Seems like Kemp is sitting on his hands. He could at least denounce the witch hunt.

I think the vast majority of States don't give the Governor that level of power but I could be wrong.

I think Kemp could do more, but he also seems to be a pretty good Governor to me, and is doing his best with a State that has shifted purple.

Not unilaterally by the Governor, that power lies in an oversight commission.

I don’t know the latter. Let me know. Although we’ll probably end up meeting and having a few beers and laughs and agreeing on a general premise. Yet, you won’t spew this crap about acceptable political persecution to my face. Who would? You’re only happy and willing to engage with it online because you and your side are winning.

Where’s Kemp now that it’s pretty clear that the Fulton DA is way out over her skis.

What's the difference? GA under Kemp lost the senate twice.

They could easily lock GA down like DeSantis did with FL.

For some reason they are reluctant to do so.

Kemp allowed the steal to happen right in front of our eyes. I’m sure he’s fine with this sham of an indictment also

Kemp didn't pimp, or want, Walker until he didn't have a choice after Trump abandoned him after the primaries.

Thanks Trump

The point is Walker was "unelectable".
