Professor Ford is a potential witness in the Kavanaugh confirmation process. So why does she have an attorney?

Protection against a libel suit

she needs someone to keep track of the lies so she doesn't contradict herself.

Because she's a babbling idiot.

I heard there were "white men" that would be questioning her. Obviously, the attorney is to protect her....somehow

Because she lying and need an attorney to cover for her.

Possibly but if Kavanaugh is confirmed and she is outed as lying I would doubt he would pursue an action. Best thing is to get as far awway from her as possible.
Could she be prosecuted for perjury if she gives false estimony to Congress? Again, it seems nothing can really be gained by prosecuting her as best to let it go rather than give the Democras another chance to make her a victim.

By my count she has changed parts of her story about the alleged encounter with teenager Kavanaugh 5 times since Friday.
She needs a lawyer to help her from committing perjury.

IO am ready to make the DEMOCRATs go to the mattresses on this 'victim' bullshite.
I want 'victims' - I want them stacked up like cordwood.
The more 'victims' the better - make the DEMOCRATs continually re-define the definition of 'victimhood." A HUGE percentage of current socielal dysfunction is because we have bent over backwards trying to please the "victims".
It is time to call a screeching halt to that bullshite.
Wanna be a victim?? === c'mere - I got a billy club for that.

What has changed? I’m not arguing, I just haven’t seen a lot of her statements

This seems normal to me. I'd hire an attorney if I were going to testify for anything.

CNN is already going with the “11 white men ganging up on a woman” take.
Don’t start none, there won’t be none

What has changed?
2) The gender of the other persons in the room.
3 & 4) The year the encounter took place. (Three different years or range of years so this is 2 changes from her original story.)
5) How she exited from the room. She first said she exited through a side door in the room. Then she said she can't remember how she left the room. Then "maybe through the bathroom."

it was only 2 men
then it was 4 men
then it was 4 men and 2 other girls
she told no one
then shre only told her therapist
then she told "lots of people" about it but didnt name anyone
its literally a fluid story being made up with shite added to it on the fly every time she feels her story is weak

Sounds like a great game of Clue.

Why? Attorneys are expensive if you are just testifying as a witness. Now, if you have something to gain or lose that is a different story.

I'm not an attorney and have never played one on tv but is there some type of crime involved with all these accusations against higher political/ judicial candidates where the woman accuses some, mainly conservative, male of a sexual attack?
I am a female but surely don't approve of all these women coming out of the woodwork and making wild accusations and as soon as the guy drops out they disappear into the woodwork again. Herman Cain, Roy Moore and how many lives have been ruined?
Go after them for something.
