That's the funny part. It actually will not go down in the books because it is not his prize. This is literally just about pissing them off.
I mean, IMO, having the actual winner give you their award is even better than being awarded it yourself, because the committee is so corrupted, but that isn't his peace prize.

Dude, his presidential salary is a point of proof? His net worth has increased by like 3 Billion in the past year, that’s fricking peanuts, of course he can forgo accepting a salary.

He has been 100% consistent in his messaging regarding what needed to be done in this country for over 40 fricking years now and refused call after call to run for POTUS the entire time saying he would prefer if someone else do what needed to be done instead.
He is literally delivering on what he said needed to happen 40 fricking years ago because nobody else would step up and do it.

Trump is not America.
America was here long before Trump and hopefully will be here long after he leaves office.
Trump does some things that I like and am grateful for b/c he's probably the only one who would do them. He also supports several leftist initiatives b/c he's a populist instead of a conservative. I don't support those.
He's a mixed bag and I knew that when I voted for him in the general election, which I did because the alternative was clearly much worse.
That's the reality of Trump. It's also the reality of Trump that he learned a lot during his first term about maximizing his personal wealth due to his position in office. I'm not saying he's any worse than anyone else up there in that regard—and Biden might have been the most crooked POTUS ever—but he's no better either. He's a politician. He's learned to be one.
He's not your Savior. He's not a superhero. He's not always right (not even close). And he's not the embodiment of America.
He's a mixed bag politician during a time when even a mixed bag is the clear choice against a bag that is 100% filled with shite.
