I think Trump knows how deep the roots of the corrupt Deep State go. He's doing what he can. The 'system' isn't designed to allow him to completely overhaul everything. Look at the vast array of pointless lawfare cases and election fraud that went on since 2020. Ballot dumps, removal from several state elections, illegally, until they were overturned.
The rot isn't just in the DC area. It's a cancer across the country.

They had been asking the guy since the 80s if he would run for POTUS and he ALWAYS said he didn't want to. That he wanted someone else to step up and do what needed to be done. But nobody ever did. So he finally took it upon himself to step up and do what needed to be done. He has been consistent in his views since that time as well. He doesn't accept a salary for his work.
Anyone who thinks this is about narcissism isn't paying attention. He is playing a role. A role he has cultivated for decades. This isn't about his ego. It is about winning.

By all objective measures, he is doing more for world peace than the last 3 presidents combined.
