You're still stuck misunderstanding what the title of the thread says.
Are you on the old meds or new? Semantics baw, you lov’m! What’s your favorite? Formal? Lexical? Conceptual?

Nope. Leaving the middle east wars is not "isolationism" nor is leaving that conflict a bad thing.

I bumped a Turkey invading Afrin thread from January of 2018. Nobody even responded. Goes to show you these folks are doing nothing more than pretending to be upset. Nobody in here pretending to be upset or think it’s a bad idea truly gives a shite.

What about the future issues of a resurgent Iran?! What will a closed Straight of Hormuz do to our interests? What about Israel’s security as our best ally and only democracy in the region.
Israel can defend themselves and have done so before. I care not for democracy in other regions. I care more about American politics and policy. I don't care about foreign dictators, believe it or not: they will always exist with or without our bullets and blood.
Nation building is not successful.

Do you?
Its a simple question.
But do your schtick I guess.

I do, when necessary.

Ok, and have we gained tangible benefit from, say, the last 20 years there?

I've answered this dozens of times, probably more. It isn't my job to hold your hand through every discussion.

I got you. You said you do, and when neccessary.
So the tangible benefit of the last 20 years is....?

Wow anti Semitic much? If other democracies were under constant unprovoked attack like Israel, surrounded by hostile neighbors, I would hope America would come to their aid.

But your standards are much too high for this forum. While participating on this forum do you ever find yourself in mental anguish reading the poor sentence structure? The careless misuse of words? In general, I gather the overall linguistics are appalling to your intellect.

I would say not. What is the coherent end point of this war on terror? What even is a "war on terror"? We don't even know our enemies anymore and half the time we are the ones arming and training them.

Actually I favored no involvement with Iraq either. The Mid East is more unstable than ever since we toppled him. Its like people think we actually fix things when we do this shite. Look at the results.
I share the bolded sentiment to a certain extent. If there was one thing Saddam wasn't going to tolerate it was unpredictable religious fanatics from out of town loitering in his country. And he had a slightly different way of handling them, I'm sure.
Thus, I admire GHWB's decision to allow Saddam to hobble back to Baghdad, while GWB's effort was, IMO, ill-conceived.

I like terrorists to have a reduced support structure.
You and your boy Bill Clinton may not agree, but I don't care about your agreement.
