Well, I'm not a Democrat

And telling the guy who wants to "extrajudicially" pursue action against the IC that the IC is kinda good at "extrajudicial" activities isn't all that indicative of party allegiance.

Because they are evil, controlled and put in place by the globalist. They killed kennedy when he said he was going to shut down the CIA. They will at some point try to assassinate Trump. I just hope they aren't successful.

Isn't it obvious they are against Trump when they keep spouting all this nonsense about Russia and Trump! Yet they don't give a rats arse that Hillary sold our uraniu resources to Russia or our deep water part on the west coast to China etc etc.

If you can't see their are anti-US forces in the FBI and even more so in the CIA then I just don't know what to say.

About the time that Obama came in, there were a lot of CIA "personnel" that were retiring and quite a few that Obama and his people sort of forced to retire and quit. It became a much more tech nerd operation populated by a bunch of Ivy League types and Silicon Valley kids who are true believers in Obama. They believe that their outlook on the world is the CORRECT outlook and they will try and trash anyone who might threaten it
You guys just say shite and you never know what you're talking about. CIA and the reset of the IC used to be a lot more upper-crust and "Ivy League" than they are today. There was no great drain or hiring surge over the last eight years. The vast majority of their officers are career track and don't align with any administration. Just like the rest of the government. They're still a tony, insular, spooky bunch, but they haven't gotten more elite.

How did state dept make the call on sale? How do you sell a port, anyway?

Is this some brietbart fantasy or just misleading post?

Pal, that horse left the barn decades ago. Harry Truman even lamented before his death in the 60's his approval of the creation of the CIA. The CIA has been responsible for fricking up countries on every continent.

quote:

I never had any thought that when I set up the CIA that it would be injected into peacetime
cloak and dagger operations. Some of the complications and embarrassment I think we have
experienced are in part attributable to the fact that this quiet intelligence arm of the President
has been so removed from its intended role that it is being interpreted as a symbol of sinister
and mysterious foreign intrigue—
and a subject for cold war enemy propaganda.

With all the nonsense put out by Communist propaganda about "Yankee imperialism,"
"exploitive capitalism," "war-mongering," "monopolists," in their name-calling assault on the
West, the last thing we needed was for the CIA to be seized upon as something akin to a
subverting influence in the affairs of other
people
.

Early on trump said intel against/about russian-and-russian-bought hacker influencing election was false.

Intel community hackles raised.

Both doubled down. Trump now persona non grata. There are now judges, intel and some senators, arrayed against trump on serious grounds. Not even one month in.

Good times. O/U on bill of impeachment date sept 8.

They are very elite, but now the elite are a bunch of data jockeys coming out of Stanford, Cal Poly, MIT, Harvard and the like . The heads of the FBI like Brennan are politicos and make no mistake Brennan and Clapper are progressives....or else they would not have gotten the job.

There was a big attrition movement inside of the CIA and NSA over the last 10 years.

How do people still believe this shite? Is it satire I'm just too stupid to get? He owes the Chinese government hundreds of millions of dollars just to start off.

He just appointed an education secretary who openly stated she would no longer deny she was funding congress for personal gain and expected a return on investment.

Agent Orange gets busted for lying and its the intelligence community fault because they are against him or President Obama fault or the media fault...the intelligence community has provided much intel over the years that many of you believed but since agent orange has been caught lying there is a problem...SAD

Genuinely curious on your thoughts here...if for some reason we had to pivot w/ a longstanding alliance and/or enemy that had lasted decades:

1) How long do you think it would take for existing members CIA FBI etc to adjust to new policy and direction?

2) How smooth do you think the transition would be, trickling down from the top brass to the rank and file? How much resistance and/or staff turnover?

Jesus man lol...

Because [Hillary] supporters are perpetual victims. Every time something doesn't go their way, they find somebody else to blame, usually the "[racism]" and the ["uneducated"].

See how easy that was?

People don't like losing, it's nothing new. The left is handling this loss about as bad as ive ever seen though. Some are literally beating themselves up and pretending it was trump supporters if you want to talk about being victims

"Kids are bullies now"
"I don't feel safe to walk outside"
"We are going to cancel the emmys"

Former CIA chief Brennan admitted that he actually voted for the Communist Party USA candidate for POTUS. What kind of person does that at any point in their adult lives under any circumstances? You've GOT to be a Progressive to do such a thing.

So, your post makes lots of common sense. I don't buy it that the IC isn't against Trump. Trump stands for making FedGov smaller. FedGov careerists can see this as a threat to a growing IC that offers more pay raises and more promotions to them.
