Hate crimes can only be committed by whites because whites are the only people that can be racist. Duh.

That's the point. How high would it actually be of some cases were actually labeled a hate crime? For example, was the knock out game labeled a hate crime? If it wasn't, there was a lot of that going on that could make the statistics higher
After further research it looks like the perpetrators were sentenced each time, appropriately in my opinion, but the only time the DOJ got involved they labeled it a hate crime was when a white kid killed an older African American man.

Actually.. I'm not implying anything of the sort. That's the entire reason I created this thread. Using statistics like "black people commit 50% of all violent crimes" to denigrate an entire race (blaming it on inferior genetics) is fricking stupid.
The point is that when your reverse the script people can see how stupid an argument is. They're incapable of seeing that when it is applied towards a group they are prejudiced against.. yet it's clear as day to them when the scripts are reversed.

What do both sets of statistics mean? In reality.. very little. They are dumb talking points used by talk show radio hosts and public figures to stir up racist sentiments (on both sides) to help control the sheeple.
