Especially in a democracy.

In all fairness, there's been about 13 posts started today to discuss race relations. Maybe it's time to start tuning out the noise.

Why do we even care what 13% of the population even thinks?

Problem is...they aren't thinking for themselves.

It's less than 13%. Not all are on board with the nonsense spewed by BLM. Although, they do not do a good job discrediting those types.

I’ll need to hear some legitimate grievances first (I haven’t heard any)

And to answer your question.....people will stop caring once it’s too late and we become a 3rd world shite hole.

I keep up with news. Statistics are interesting to me. It's just unfathomable and outlandish the murder rates in that particular group. Blows my mind! Is it really as simple as low impulse control? Someone disrespects you and you just kill them?

I never thought middle age white women would ever be replaced as the biggest crybabies in this country.

But black men under 40 have taken the crown from the Karen's of this country.

Can you say Chocolate Soy?

Black people in the United States have it so much better than black people worldwide, and it isn't even close!

Now think about the percentage of the population that is transgender and why we care what they think.

Because most of those 13% live in the most heavily populated areas and big cities.

I don't consider Mobile a big city. It is the second largest in Alabama. Birmingham is the largest.

Birmingham is 71.6% Black.
Mobile is 51% Black.
New Orleans is 60% black.
Baton Rouge is 55% black.

99% of the "problems" that 13% constantly f*cking whine and b!tch about would magically disappear overnight if they would just stop committing more than 50% of the violent f*cking crime in this country.

I get what you are saying, but that 13% was put through a LOT by this country including being owned and then shut out of full participation in government, business and just society at large.

That historical legacy most certainly does need to be addressed...and it slowly is being improved. So I don't mind it being talked about more than you would think minus historical context. The problem is HOW it is being "discussed."

This SWJ/wokeness is probably doing more harm than good. And academics and the media are really prodding this on. Criticism and crisis and controversy generates attention. And that is valued more than actual problem solving.

You know why. There’s a Marxist party that thrives and survives on identity politics based in racial divisiveness.

The majority of any group of people not living in fear will never support more taxes and less freedoms. As the majority, most white people lean right. The only possible way for the white minority (liberals) to maintain power is to convince almost everyone else the majority is the enemy.

Funny thing is even the minorities would lean right if not for the successful fear mongering and manufactured animosity.
You think AAs like owning guns, paying less of their earnings to the government, practicing religion...? Absolutely, but they vote against all these things at 90+ %.
Why? That’s the answer to your question

The reason this is all we hear about is to lock up the minority vote, and the bonus of also gaining the white guilt vote from the fragile of the majority. The government has people willfully voting against their best interest and instead vote for more government power over them
