re: Why do republicans/conservatives have such a hard time admitting to the party switch

So the democrats went from being racist against everybody besides whites to being racist against only whites? Yeah, makes perfect sense...
They are racist across the board. Democrat run inner cities prove Democrats are massively racist against black people. 1+2=6 math being forced upon minorities in places like Seattle (designed to keep these people ignorant) is further proof of racism by leftists against minority communities. War on school choice is a further example.
The Democrat party depends on keeping certain groups down to maintain power.

A conservative democrat in 2021 is a walking contradiction...
Do you believe registered democrats voted for Trump?
Do you believe registered republicans voted for Biden?
Your brain is having a hard time today.

Okay, I believe you! Welcome aboard, Patriot!
However, on second thought

I don’t give a frick about party registration... I am talking about what people actually are. Most people will give you a solid answer whether they are republicans or democrats if you ask them. If they follow politics that is. Why are you bringing up party registration? Do you think I care who is signed up for what party? You can look at simple statistics and conclude that the south is way more conservative and republican than liberal and democrat and way more conservative than the north. This has been the case throughout our entire nations history. It all goes back to who settled this land. The north was settled by puritans and Quakers and the south was settled by sons of British royalty (and english/Scottish borderlanders that are genetically anti government). The south was always destined to be more conservative

I will let you figure out the rest
"Everybody my history books and CNN tells me is racist is racist." Got it. Super conservative, there.
Guess you never heard of Lyndon Johnson and his claim that he would keep those **** voting Democrat for the next 200 years.
Which raises the question: What exactly are Democrats doing for black people and to combat racism and pursue liberty? Because social justice is the very definition of bigotry and divisiveness and Dems are all about infringing on rights. Every day.
But you know, switched sides and all that.

Imo, the party switch was an ingenious strategy.. on the university and media levels, they convinced millions of idiots that the histories of the two parties should be switched. It muddied the waters.
Because the Democrat party is a fricking abomination. They were against the emancipation proclamation. They were against black people voting. They were against women voting. The Democrats gave us jim crow laws for christ's sake.
While the party switch myth is a good strategy..it's insulting. In this modern era , Democrats are leading the charge on destroying offensive history.. but they've the nerve to continue to proudly stand under the 'Democrat' banner.

can you provide me the names of 5 or 10 congressmen or senators that were part of the big switch?
should be pretty easy to find since it was such a huge thing that every liberal talks about when you tell them that they're the party of slavery

It doesn’t matter what the democrat party wants. The democrat party listens to whoever votes for them. The south used to vote for them, and now the north does. Black southerners used to vote republican while white southerners used to vote democrat and now it is the complete opposite. This is obviously not a coincidence. It’s not because we suddenly woke up and decided to go against our families politics. We are just as conservative as our ancestors. The parties switched ideologies. Anybody reading this should immediately be able to think of an older family member that was always democrat and in their older age were forced to switch to republican. Unless this site is just filled with carpetbaggers

Democrats in 2021 - racist, fascist, communist
Republicans in 2021 - anti-racist, classic liberal, originalist, with a big dose of break-up fascist tech. populism

I hate LBJ more than anybody on this board but there is no evidence he ever even said that. I would like to believe he did though cause it makes him look worse.
I’m not a democrat so I can’t answer that and quite frankly I don’t care. My point is that if any of us were alive in the 1800s we would not be republicans. That is all really

I kinda don't care right now. More important things to worry about.

Prove when the party switched?
Dont forget the south didnt start voting republican consistently until W Bush, so mentioning a party switch before the year 2000 is just 100% false.

The people who believe in individual freedoms, personal responsibility, and have a strong background in religious liberties wouldn't be for Lincoln? What?

You’re conflating the natural evolution of political platforms with the Southern Strategy.
Going forward may want to do less speaking on this subject and more learning.

I will never understand why troll threads like this get so much attention here.
As a former proggy, even I know this narrative is BS.
