Because the left wing represents and panders to the lowest common denominator of our society. Or in other words, the dregs.

1. Because they believe in equality of outcome, not equality of opportunity. From each, according to his ability, to each, according to his needs. Socialism is the goal. Ignore the resulting collapse.

This philosophy accomplishes a few things:

1) Buys your vote

2) Makes you "need" to keep voting for the people that own the key to the chains you placed around your own neck. You are now in "debt" to those people essentially. Better keep voting for them or the well dries up.

3) Takes away the dignity of self reliance and replaces it with the shame of dependence on the state. Every time they offer something else, you have already said yes to something similar, and you have already degraded your self worth, so what's a little more? Rinse and repeat.

4) Placing the responsibility of you and your family's life into someone else's hands is easy. It is no longer your fault if things are bad. Life might not be what you want, but hey, you have no control. The only way to make it better is to vote for more, not work for it.

5) Turns you into a victim when anyone disagrees with your lifestyle of dependence, further shielding you from having to own up for your own life.


That folks, is what entitlements do to you and your community, with each generation getting deeper and deeper into the quicksand, ever so slowly. By the time you realize it is a bad idea, it will be too late and struggling will only make you sink faster. This is what the democratic party is pushing for. LBJ put it into motion, and we are now seeing the effects of it traverse our entire society like a creeping rot that infects a wound. Had we just drained, cleaned and cauterized it, we wouldn't be now considering how to save a life.

I think this is the root of most disagreements.

I know it's impossible for opportunity to always be equal but I think we should strive for it. Those I disagree with either want to keep opportunity from being equal OR (as you said) strive for the outcome to be equal.

Oh I believe it’s a scientific fact that the vast majority of liberal men are mostly definitely frail and weak. Low T and just girly man features are the main reason. Why do they gravitate to the Democratic Party is my question?

I realized something listening to Andrew Yang on Shapiro's podcast this morning, Fundamentally I disagree with Liberals because they seem to think there is an unlimited amount of money. I'm not sure if they are naive enough to believe that they can tax people to the point of having it all but they spend as though there is no end.

Yang was talking about a UBI of $1000 a month to all American's over 18. So our Social Security is going to be bankrupt in a matter of a handful of years but we can somehow afford to give it to everyone forever?

I think that liberals in general have a good heart but are genuinely stupid about what can happen. They can't see how people who earn money want to keep it and not just give it away. If you tax the ones you consider rich up to 70 or 90% then they will move and hide their money. If you give everyone money, then no one will work the low paying jobs anymore.
