Sniper team on left(video) did not have shooter in sight. Shooter was obscured by a tree if you look at chopper video. Sniper team on viewers right likely took shooter out. Chopper video confirms.

The sniper team in video did not have the shooter in sight. Their pre and post reactions are indicative of not having a visual of the shooter. No way that counter sniper comes off his scope if he had the shooter in his sight.

I heard it explained that they didn’t have a clear line of site on him from that position. They had no target - that’s the claim.
This is what if initially thought. If true, that really indicts the SS and the SS sniper. I believe they are supposed to set up where they have no blind spots and if there is a blind spot the detail is to be adjusted for that.

What the hell was the chopper team watching? There were three buildings within 150 yards of the stage. Those were the only tall structures.
That team should have seen the sniper crawling on the roof and been able to confirm pretty quickly the guy had a gun.
That team should have immediately gotten the SS team on the stage to get the President to safety.
This seems like a clusterfrick all around.

Here's an image I saw that kinda explains why the one team didn't ever shoot. Still doesn't explain why the other 2 teams let him traverse the slope of the roof and take several shots at Trump though...

What we heard till now is as close to the truth we will get. Will be pure bs and propaganda from here out.
Our best bet is to take the opposite when those responsible finally speak. Or from the corrupt media doing their bidding.

Fire all of them.
Call Eric Prince and have him assemble a team.

They didn’t see him or have a clear shot. The shooter is laying on the opposite downslope of his roof.
And yet they had a perfect headshot after he got off several rounds? I can’t tell if you’re joking, or if you really believe this nonsense.
Even if you don’t hit the target, you shoot AT him to suppress him, while rushing from different directions on the ground.

Perhaps they only see the civilian pointing up at the roof trying to get their attention. How long was the sniper hidden by the peak of the roof line before he popped up and took his first shot? I doubt he climbed up the side of the building facing Trump’s venue. Obviously a failure to secure the roof, but it’s not yet clear how long he would have been visible to the counter snipers before they returned fire.
The failure was also in pre-planning. How do they not have eyes on that building? Eyewitnesses see the guy on the roof and there is no security in the crowd? Nobody is even around the nearest rooftop to the president?

couldn’t confirm he was holding a gun
Guessing you’ve never looked through a even a standard hunting scope before

I’m guessing they couldn’t confirm that he was holding a gun and wanted that confirmation before smoking an innocent person that might have just been a dipshit trying to get a better view.
With the scopes on those SS dudes rifles, they count the pimples on the killer’s face. I guarantee they could see the rifle.

Isn't the bigger WTF "why do they not have snipers on that building"? It's 130 yards away from the podium. If they met for a dozen hours to discuss how to protect this venue, then discussion of placing a team there should have taken place in the first five minutes or so, and there's NO reason not to. It couldn't be more obvious.

This was an extremely amateur assassination attempt that if it were in a movie script it would ruin the movie.
If this were a movie I’d be like, “Yeah, this untrained liberal douchebag is making his way through all of these cops and SS with a rifle and able to climb a roof within 150 of the President and get off numerous shots without being noticed. bullshite.”
But, unfortunately it did happen.

Those snipers can’t choose to take a shot. They have to be given the order. If inside job, the snipers probably wouldn’t be the one’s in on it. Whomever controls the orders being given or delayed is the place to start looking

Another huge failure here is to position yourself so the one roof with a clear line to the podium could have a section concealed by that tree.
Occam’s razor again points to laziness or incompetence.

Watch the video of the 2 SS snipers on the roof. They obviously saw him and were aimed right at him for 10-15 seconds before they fired. They did not adjust their guns at all in these seconds. You can see them over Trumps head. They only fired after the assassin took his 7 shots then they took him out! They allowed him to shoot first!
They both flinched at the sound of his first shots.

You don’t want to shoot an idiot spectator trying to watch the rally through binoculars.
