Rispone wasn’t a great campaigner but do you believe there wasn’t any fraud in Orleans Parish?
Watched the results live with some RNC guys at a hunting camp.
35,000 votes or so dropped from Orleans Parish with like 30 minutes left to vote.
Yeah, with what we just learned in Mississippi amongst the Democrats; I have no doubt what happened from Orleans Parish in 2019.

JBE as an incumbent had people giving him big money. Rispone had to spend his own.
He wasn’t a very good campaigner. He had to learn on the fly and he didn’t learn very fast.

Long story short. The butthurt republicans in north Louisiana boycotted the runoff after their boy lost.
They also got JBE elected the first time because Vitter was a scoundrel but I guess I understand that

He was behind in the polls, went after Abraham with a bunch of lies
Rispone beat Abraham with his first debate performance. Rispone was great from someone outside of politics and Abraham was as bland as toast. Plus Risponse came off as much more conservative in the debate compared to Abraham who pushed things like "tax-neutral" ideas instead of cutting taxes like Rispone wanted.
The first debate was on September 19th. Which is when Rispone first passed Abraham and never looked back.

Because the LAGOP is completely and laughably inept. They basically let 2 republican candidates beat each other up, wouldn’t make any calls to help resolve anything and then Rispone overplayed his hand, attacking Abraham to try and get some traction. It worked and he became the nominee - but the Bible Belt, North Louisiana fricknuts were too sad to show up and vote. So Turtlehead walked in there and here we are.
Just in case you missed it, this time around the LAGOP ran out and endorsed Landry before the race even started, once again proving how worthless they are. So now you don’t even know who the best candidate could be.
So they let two guys bash each other and that was wrong, and then they jumped in early to prevent what happened in the previous election and that was wrong??
Seems like you covered your bases pretty well.

Louisiana isn’t a red state. It’s a pro-gun, anti-abortion blue state.
Livingston Parish is the worst. A bunch of socialists.

I didn’t really pay attention much at the time. Was he a rino or just lacked charisma? It amazes me republicans lose statewide in such a red state like louisiana.
They don't. JBE was a perfect-storm fluke. The Republican wins every presidential election in Louisiana by 20%. 5/6 Representatives are Republican along with both Senators. Nearly supermajorities in both state houses.

This is such a dumb trope.

Prevent what happened? They endorsed before the race even began.

In Louisiana, you need a name everyone knows. Rispone was a new politician and nobody in North LA knew his name.

You can’t tell the party leaders to jump in and prevent candidates from campaigning against each other and criticize them for picking a side.
No, they shouldn’t have anointed Landry, but they weeded out a weak candidate in Abraham by letting the two Republicans go head to head. They should have done the same this cycle.

Rispone was a blatant tool of the state party organization, with little organic support. The state party sucks in LA and people want it to fail.

Butt hurt Ralph Abrams voters.
They gave us JBE for a second term.

Because he was a terrible candidate. His answer to everything was “I’m just like Donald Trump. I’m a political outsider who’s just like Donald Trump.”
North LA folks didn’t lose the governors race. Retards in Louisiana who thought Rispone was the best candidate lost the race. JBE just had too many conservative backers and Rispone wasn’t the guy who was going to flip them from JBE.

When half of your campaign about the governor of Louisiana is about a border wall in another state it's not hard to see why you're going to lose. He tried to ride Trump's coattails and lost.
This isn’t why he lost. NELA Ralph Abraham supporters refused to vote for Rispone because Rispone attacked Abraham.

Yeah this is just not true.

Where are you from? I was born and raised in Shreveport and grew up in Monroe and I know tons of Abraham supporters who refused to vote for Rispone.

I grew up in Ascension but actually lived in Monroe at the time. I didn’t know a single person who did this. What’s even more crazy is that you think North LA even has that much of an impact on the election lol.
Accountability. The retards pushing for Rispone because “Arggg I’m just like Donald Trump” is why Rispone lost. Dude was a clown. Rispone wasn’t going to flip those conservative south LA JBE voters.
