I'm not implying it has anything to do with Trump. Everyone knows he was chummy with Epstein a long time ago but that doesn't make him guilty of anything.

The bill is the National Defense Authorization Act. The purpose of the Act is to fund the Department of Defense.
If an amendment is added by a career politician that has no effect whatsoever on funding the Department of Defense, why call the rejection of that amendment as indefensible?
