Because the courts ruled there are limits to Arms. The same reason I can’t have a machine gun made prior to 1986 or a grenade launcher. The courts have already ruled that semi automatic weapons are protected under the 2nd Amendment. If you really want this changed stop posting on TD and petition the courts

Ahhh limits on weaponary for citizenry, got it. Just not now- makes sense.

Oh it’s coming, the climate has changed in this country. Watch and see.

There shouldn't be. Citizens should be allowed to own any type of weapon.

Toddy was fapping over this line of thinking as well, so about those judges are they going to be swayed by the winds of change?

Read the holding in United States v. Miller, 307 U.S. 174 (1939).

This case held that the Constitution protected the right to keep and bear arms that are "part of the ordinary military equipment" or the use of which could "contribute to the common defense." This necessarily wouldn't include a nuclear weapon.

Yep. 2A doesn’t protect weapons. It protects arms. There are plenty of weapons that fall outside the scope of the second amendment.

Please buy some nuclear material. Sit it next to your bed while you sleep.

You realize it was this SCOTUS that said Semi Automatic weapons were protected right?

Also you are aware you are complaining about 0.0001625% of AR15’s right (that’s the actual number)

Go ahead and make nukes. Leave the govt out of it. But your HOA might fine you.

As long as it's not black, doesn't have a high capacity clip, and doesn't have an assault grip.

Are you using the fact that limits and controls in the 2nd amendment are in place as an argument that we don't have limits and controls on the 2nd amendment?

Nice.

Wow. An assault weapons ban supporter equating a bayonet lug, folding stock and flash hider with a nuclear weapon. All of those were acceptable on bolt and lever action firearms during the ban.

Your freedom ends when it directly effects me and mine.

Your isotopes decay in range of my family, and you're not bright enough to weaponize it anyway.

Sore loser lefties always make absurd projections when they can't disprove the reasonable and rational logic of right-wingers.
