You could always marry your dog like in ancient Rome.

I will talk to my wife about that, but she's Catholic and not Mormon.

You could set up an Instagram page for the dog and deduct the food as an expense

I would rather get rid of you. You're a waste of Oxygen. At least my dog kills some varmints and is entertaining.. you have no redeeming qualities.

Check out the tax filing experts that inhabit Walmart this time of year. They are great at identifying child tax credits for kids south of the border. Call your dog Ralph or Sally for 2500 bucks credit

What if your wife were to claim she was a dog? Would one lose a dependent on their tax return?

Why can't we claim welfare recipients as dependents?

These kinds of deductions were always carrots. The US had a compelling national interest to promote rapidly increasing population.

If they cared about more dogs they'd create a new carrot.

I should be able to claim my 25 year old daughter, she still identifies as an 18 year old.

Well you actually can as long as your dog has a SSN.

Just kidding, that hasn’t mattered for a very long time if you’re on the provider side of our society.

You a fricking loser half arse working leach on society? Just do it, you’ll never get questioned

Cat food is expensive too. My new kitten begged for some bacon at breakfast this morning. At least it is cheaper than an egg.
