If any of you want to keep arguing there isn't a significant element of racism on this board, feel free to take a peek in the thread that was started and meant to be a rebuttal to this one. Racism like a motherfricker up in it.

Edit: Check the upvotes to all the racism also.

Correct, he wants to take guns

He's been all over the place. First he wants to take them all, now just some...

But he wants badly for you to know racism is the reason you're armed

Okay, then feel free to articulate a scenario on how your due process would go. Perhaps you and I agree a lot more than our discussion indicates.

We already know from discussion with you that no agreement is possible.

Because for you, any agreement remaining the last agreement is contingent on it completely wiping out gun violence.

Otherwise, you acknowledge you would come back for more.

That's what red flag laws are for and they are a step in the right direction, but there was opposition to those in the last thread discussion as well. Ask ShortyRob.

Red flag laws need due process, not merely flagging someone in a system.

Rights are constructs that you aren't endowed with by some greater power also.

In fact, stockpiling guns seems to be a symptom of a much deeper crisis in meaning and purpose in their lives.
I don't know what that could be. I was given a BB gun at a very young age. I built up a collection of hunting guns. I like guns and had the money so I bought what I like.

Something with no significant link to gun crime? Odd

hat's your comparison to the United States government / military?

No - I knew where you were going. You're going to argue we HAVE to have tanks, bombers, artillery and nuclear weapons to oppose the U.S. government. I used examples of organizations without those things that (at least partially) successfully opposed the might of the U.S. government with rifles, pistols, machineguns and improvised explosives, largely. They did acquire modest amounts of things like mortars, etc., but the citizenry will too in a prolonged conflict, they will pick up those items on the battlefield.

But there is little hope without a baseline arming of rifles, pistols and machineguns. Which is all I'm advocating. Ban shotguns if you want. That's a sporting arm. Ban revolvers. As long as we have rifles, pistols and machineguns, we'll be fine.

That is false on every pretense it can be. You were the one that kept hedging when I agreed to your stance. So stop lying.

Which is good.

Please God tell me the left plans to go into 2018 and 2020 with the "white people bad" from 2016 approach again.

Please God let this be so

Why would we argue that when your OP is dripping with racism?

Clearly, there's racism on the board.

Dude, you're the one talking in all caps. I never accused anyone of being racist, but that was taken from the OP and run with. Then another thread I link to gets started and it devolves into a spear chucking, blacks are lazy thread, and I'm the one that needs to stay calm? You guys are fricking hilarious.
