In reality, the primary for reason for black-on-black violence is due to black market dispute resolution - if some good ol baw steals from you, or fricks up one of your subordinates, you can't go to the police/judicial system for recompense - you've got to commit violence against him!
I know there are genetic markers more prevalent in Sub-Saharan Africans more 'violence/warrior' proclivities, but as I see it (especially knowing that black American violence was a fraction of what it is today before the Great Society and the War on Drugs), I think most of these crimes can be explained through market and legal means.

Why add the “with guns” when the stats are strictly about murder? They rob, rape and steal at the same rates so it’s not a gun issue.

So under this umbrella that also explains the FACT that the blacks in the hood with their guns don't legally own "their" guns, while responsibly armed tax paying citizens who purchase their guns legally know that said gun is tied to them, thus they are going to make more judicious decisions in terms of force protection, proper use of force and when (or not) it is appropriate to use deadly force to protect oneself or one's family.
