I want to believe this, but I can't. I have the feeling that out West and in the Northeast, they're just as fine as wine with it. If they weren't, they would vote differently. They aren't and it is getting worse.

The Dems are constantly searching for new fronts to open on civil rights. The Reps are always poised to cash in on the opposition. The cynics with money to fund the info ops love the fight because it keeps the voting population distracted while they continue to loot the US.

I basically said that. In normal times, this would have already led to society shifting back to the right for a short period of time before they started again.
But we're too polar now and they've planted the flag.
It was effective for conservatives to point out the absurdity in 2021, which could have started a bigger reaction....but then Dobbs happened and it re-ignited the leftward trajectory. After Dobbs, speaking out against tranny BS implies you're also pro-life, and that is NOT a label these people will put up with.

Yeah it brought the spotlight on conservative social issues, and moderates across the country didn't want to be associated in any way with being seen as "pro life". If you criticized Tranny stuff, then you were, at best, pro life-adjacent. That juice was not worth the squeeze for moderates, so they shut up about any perceived conservative social value.
This board is WAY too skewed to districts that are R+15 where being labeled "right wing" is a compliment. That's a death sentence in a toss up district.

I find it very revealing that, while they couldn’t care less that 15+ million have died from a science experiment funded by US money, Dems are adamant about flushing fetuses down the toilet and weedeating off minors’ genitalia.

Conservatives can’t be “bad” if they don’t have some bullshite group being oppressed. It will literally never end. 20 years from now when they have made transgender normal through indoctrinating X % of children it’ll be on to the next.
Maybe it will be trans-age or trans-species. Like transgender it literally makes no sense, serves no purpose, and has no demand (yet). But just wait, big tech and big education just has to start pushing that it as an option - we call bullshite this is not a thing - then we are the bad guys and bleeding heart libs will support it and have their boogeyman. ESG will force corporations to use it in advertising.
I can’t wait until some dude with full body hair implants and leg shortening surgery is being trotted around on a leash winning dog shows because he responds to commands better than a real dog.
