Guess you missed the Nazi symbol necklace, conveniently... and his hateful statements on Jews and Israel, which I know you love. Great guy tho, man. For sure.

Irrelevant to my point, it’s a pretty simple question. Did you vote for Trump or Harris and will you be voting for a Democrat in the upcoming midterms? Since you are a “libertarian” then it should be pretty easy to answer those questions

Did they really make hateful statements about Jews, or did they point out that Israel is a terrible "ally" and the only defense you could provide was to call them antisemitic?

do you see how pathetic this sounds? Also, I never notice you defending any other groups like this. Strange!

The overwhelming majority of actual libertarians are in the MAGA camp (though they do voice disappointment from time to time at individual Trump actions). Most of the “libertarians” on TD are just typical progressive shills (or general contrarians) who hide behind the label to pretend that they’re “above the fray” thinking that conservative posters will be more willing to agree with criticisms by libertarians vs out and proud democrats. There’s also a couple of establishment GOP types who oppose Trump on immigration and tariffs, and hide behind libertarians for those reasons. In national politics, the Libertarian Party is run by literal communists, and exists for nothing but agit-prop against the right. L’s in the GOP like Rand sometimes support Trump and sometimes don’t depending on the issue. Massey sold himself out to the progressives, and that is why he got primaried (he represents no one).

Absolutely nailed it. Golf clap

Number 2 is a joke.

It’s because of Trump the US controls the world economic stage.

Naw

The Trump admin has been hugely interventionist and attacking the free market, from tariffs to promoting socialism (owning the means of production) to promoting caps on credit card interest rates.

You can't be conservative and libertarian.

Please explain. Conservatives and libertarians have common beliefs. Small government for one. Self reliance for another.

Do you have a rational explanation?

Well, for starters, my experience with libertarians is that they’re all a bunch of spineless twats who are afraid to make enemies with the left, so they try to play both sides. As my grandpa always said, “if you’re gonna straddle the fence, you can’t have balls”.

I have no reason to lie, I'm perfectly capable of making valid arguments to defend my viewpoints.

What do you think it being a conservative means?

What do you wish to conserve? The status quo of the uniparty?

You see this because you don't even ask the first question of every issue.

Which should be - is this a proper role of government.

And if your answer to that is yes, then you're most likely just a different branch of the left.

If you answer is no, then you are most likely a conservative/libertarian.

Since you answer yes, you then just argue with the "left" as to which direction the government should be forced on people.

The truth is - I argue with both "sides" and don't see much difference between you - except liberals don't pretend they are conservatives... although they also did hijack the word liberal in the same manner.

They claim I'm "Far Right", you claim I'm "Far Left". Which is interesting.

Are you under contract to lie about everything?

I don't even think there are DSA candidates on my ballot to even vote for to start with.
