Well, considering "1.2 to 6.8 percent of the adult population identifying as LGBT." - all things considered equal, then heterosexuals would consist of 98.8 to 93.2 percent of child molesters.

This. And this isn't just some obscure data, it's pretty well known. A much higher percentage of gay individuals have been sexually molested as a child. That doesn't mean that all were, and that doesn't mean that all gays are pedo's either, but there is some correlation there.

Well that's just intellectually lazy. Of course there are. Heterosexuals make up 98% of the population. What you should do, is state the % of pedos per group. It has been linked here many times, much higher rate of pedos in the gay community than the straight community.

Children are just that. Children. You may view homosexuality as deviant behavior, but at least it is legal and between two people that are consenting adults.
In that vein, the more vulnerable the subject/victim, the less immediate risk involved in the attempt. I.e., priests going after alterboys rather than deacons. Is that because priests are natural pedophiles? Probably not. In a twisted selfish way, it is at least as likely they are searching for the quietest, most controllable, least risky outlet for irrepressible sexual forays. So they target boys whom they can manipulate.
It is one rationale for the hard drive of MSM and Hollywood to normalize not just homosexuality, but the broader gay lifestyle.

So if 8 out of 10 child molesters are hetrosexuals why tie molesters to the gay life style. All child molesters are pos and should be shot on site gay or straight.
As a 10 year old I was held down in a garage and raped by an older man. That man eventually got married and had children so in my eyes linking gays and molesters is not only stupid but a lie.
