I believe it should be illegal.... only exception is for life threatening issues, and I think a doctor should have to prescribe that. For any other reason, that is an innocent baby and deserves to live!

Four pages and no one addresses that Trump is promoting, taking, and endorsing a covid drug developed using human stem cells. That come from schmuschmortions.

So is he for or against abortion? Guess he’s just pro his life.

Seems like the abortion side of thing is far better for the country than letting all those lazy selfish immoral folks take over. Small price to pay.

That's Eugenics. Get rid of the "undesirables" for the betterment of humanity. You agree with that philosophy?

There’s a lot to the background of why Dems support abortion, going back to the eugenicists of the early 20th century. But abortion on demand was deemed necessary once LBJ introduced the Great Society. As RGB so succinctly put it, there had to be a weeding out of “certain populations we didn’t want too many of.”

Seems like you’re confused. I’ll give you a hint. The party of racism likes the killing of little black babies. The party of Christianity is pro-life

I'm 44 and don't know anybody that has had an abortion so never been an issue to me. Seems like Anitifa, George Thoros type things invented by Rush Limbaugh to scare old ladies.

but I'm not totally against abortion. I am against abortion as a means of birth control, for people who have no discipline. That's just crazy and disgusting. Above all that, I am against my tax dollars funding it.

This is also where I’m at. I don’t want it funded and I think late term abortions are immoral and should be illegal. As a Christian, I’m against it completely but govt and religion need to be separate when creating policy IMO.

When a liberal says “her body, her choice”, my response is “what about that unborn girl or boy? They didn’t get a chance!”

It usually shuts them up or at least makes them think.

Would you have the same argument about the issue, that it’s just between the woman and God, if we were talking about a mother killing her 1 month old “post-natal” child?

no, and I get your point. The laws of the land are the laws of the land. If it becomes a states rights issue and people in Louisiana get to vote on it, I'm voting against abortion. Morally, to me, it's reprehensible but until I get a vote in the matter? there's not really much I can do.

The next iteration of this, and I'm waiting for this to come is that one day a biological father is going to sue to get out of child support. If he has no say, he shouldn't have to pay.

I do not believe abortion in the first trimester is murder. (Over 90% of abortions are performed in the first trimester.) A majority of Americans agree with me. You cannot use government fiat to make all abortions illegal. It simply will not work.

You have no idea:

quote:

Where do these embryos come from? The embryos being used in embryonic stem cell research come from eggs that were fertilized at in vitro fertilization clinics but never implanted in a woman's uterus. The stem cells are donated with informed consent from donors.

quote:

I'm opposed to abortion. Do embryonic stem cell lines come from aborted fetuses?

No. Embryonic stem cells only come from four to five day old blastocysts or younger embryos. These are eggs that have been fertilized in the laboratory but have not been implanted in a womb

Not don't you feel like an idiot?

Imagine having such a lack of self awareness that you’d actually think people would believe you’ve read the Bible lmfao. You people are hilarious.

So government can’t outlaw murder? That’s precisely what government is there for.
