A good thing he was primaried. Hegseth is putting the military back on a proper warrior's path. No more social engineering experiments, furies and trannies is a good start.

If Paxton wins, that is the best outcome. But if he loses, losing that seat could flip the whole chamber to the Democrats. And that is far more important than who the Republican is in that seat. The time to deal with this is in the primaries. And if you were going to primary one of them, you should do it with a highly electable candidate, not a guy like Paxton.

The real answer is Hegseth is changing procurement practices and not just letting the old defense companies collect a check and deliver slow bloated results… we’ve shifted a lot of procurement to new companies like Andruil and Saronic.. getting billion $$ contracts and delivering new technology at a faster rate.
A lot of these senators are used to getting $$ for their buddies and their buddies paying them off.

This is interesting because I have two aliases in the DNC and every election year for the last 20 or so years I get their targeted campaign ads. This year most of the Democrat campaign ads from blue state campaigns have been about impeaching Hegseth.
They are not just Rino but flat out following the DNC campaigns.
