Well yea that’s what I’m saying. A primary against people all from your team is very different than a presidential election where you have your one team vs trump.

You are missing the boat completely. The deciding factor in this, and basically every national election, are the generally dull people at the margins.

I don't see where Kamala is swaying more on them than she turns off.

Man I hope I’m wrong. But there seems to be quite a bit of sunshine pumping here.

Bill OReilly has made this point a bunch of times the week since the assassination attempt when asked if trump will run away win now.

He said guys there are millions of people whose entire existence is wrapped around a check from the government. And that’s not just entitlements but government contracts too. And one thing the Ds are good at is keeping those checks flowing and increasing. So the Ds could run a corpse (they essentially were) and make the election close just on this issue.

His point.
Keep your foot on the pedal. Don’t let up. Take NOTHING for granted.

I want to believe there is no way Harris can win. But after seeing Biden win, I won’t believe it till DJT is standing with his hand on the Bible.

Kamala is polling much better than Biden.

It has been 1 day. The idea that you’d be able to make this definitive statement shows you are basing this on hope.

True.

That is why they also going to vote for Biden as well.

Black men, who don’t vote in the same numbers as black women, are an interesting demographic. Trump seems to have made some inroads, but will those guys actually make it to the polls?

Libertarians were not happy with whom was chosen to represent them.

Kamala is a major departure from their world view. Biden may have pulled some of them, Kamala won’t imho.

Will they hold their nose and vote for DJT?

Trade unions are another demographic that is going to be interesting to watch. Kamala was the border tzar. She failed BIGLY. I can’t imagine that those illegal immigrants are good for union workers.

Lastly, how much will Kamala connect with suburban white women. My guess is that the vids of her race baiting are going to be an issue for Kamala.

Suburban chics have slowly caught onto the fact that they have been played.

Still, the question remains, will they vote for Trump?

My take, unless her VP REALLY ticks off the boxes, then she has more issues than Joe did.

I hope Trump wins but I do not expect him to win. Reason being - the Dems have the infrastructure. They have it all down to an art. Trump will have to win all the red states he can and then hope that a few toss-up states haven't already been infiltrated with their machines.

It's going to come down to the wire and then some.

I agree with your general analysis (although not for the same reason) except that I do think Trump will win if Harris is the Dem candidate. But I expect it to be a nail biter.

I honestly don't expect that Republicans will enjoy a rout in a nation election ever again in my lifetime. Hope I'm wrong.

People here don't realize how small the margin was for Trump in 2016. And that was running against a Hag that nobody liked. Now he's running against a Cackling Ninny that nobody likes. Same difference.

I agree. There aren’t any “landslides” anymore in presidential elections. We are so split right down the middle in this country that it is really crazy. That is, unless the modern term for landslide is 5 percent or so.

That's just it, he has never won a primary. Ever. When they go to convention, she will only be in the slot as "front-runner" because no one else has applied and everyone knows it.

She has absolutely no momentum and any attempts by the party to fabricate momentum will be only underscore how stiff and unrelatable she is.

(Potentially) Her opponent is the exact opposite. People are excited to vote for him (primary or general) and he has all the momentum.

None of this matters though. She will get voted because “not trump” and “first woman” and “black”

Because she's a cackling moron that has done literally nothing of note and doesn't have a mental disease to blame her rambling nonsense on. She's a whore that slept her way into power that they do not respect as a viable alternative to Trump. I have seen this locally already. And you will see it nationally. She will not match Biden's performance in any demographic.

She’s going to be a “rejuvenated” and “breath of fresh air” from what Biden was

Even though she’s just as bad

We are on the same page here. I agree with you about all of these things about her. I just have zero faith that others will and simply see:

Muh woman
Muh black
Muh female
Muh anybody but trump

You are giving way too much credit to idiot voters that just want to virtue signal and be a part of history.

Kamila won’t be the official Democrat candidate on the ballot in November. They will choose their candidate at the time they think is the best time.
