This is a remarkably naive viewpoint, since it has been well- established that holdovers from the Hussein DOJ worked well into Trump's first term to derail the admin from well before his election and on into 2017.
Additionally, it fails to acknowledge the prospect of tampering with the evidence already in Trump DOJ possession following the usurpation period of the illegitimate Biden-Harris regime.

The people behind all of this don't want to expose the blackmail, they never want to use the info to ruin anyone. They want the blackmail to go on forever, that is how they get what they want. They also don't want either the Dems or Republicans using it against each other since they have people on both sides. Why would they give up any leverage?

If there were legitimately damaging information about Trump in with the Epstein, they would've hit him with it before he reached the end of the gold escalator in Trump Tower, July 15, 2015.
There isn't anything there, and the whole reason Trump is fine playing ignorant to the entire matter is that he knows there will be a time and place for the disclosure of the Epstein stuff. Until then, the DS will have to continue to fabricate allegations against him whole cloth - just like always.
