I will never understand why people here refuse to give poor people credit for anything. It's impressive that an 18 year old was able to fully support himself, work his way up to manager and is still committed to getting his GED so he can better himself. Instead of acknowledging that, you're like "So what? I worked 6 hours a week and got a scholarship."

What we care about is how our tax money is spent, what we are doing to better OURSELVES, and our government is tending to foreign affairs that may or may not affect us. Student loans are given to anyone with a pulse and our public school system is a fricking cakewalk now.
