My only disappointment with this Lethal Force by this administration being President Trump did not declare a national emergency. I would argue based on those terrible YouTube videos of American citizens (practically in every large city) bent over in Fentanyl induced stupor, more than justifies the destruction of these drug boats.
But then maybe those politicians screaming the loudest against President Trump's decision to save lives have much to lose ($$).
President Trump is right about..........everything.

An unflagged vessel in international waters, also known as a stateless vessel, has no nationality and is not registered to any country. This makes it a lawless entity that can be boarded and seized by any nation, especially if it is suspected of illicit activities like piracy or human trafficking. Stateless vessels lack legal protection, leading to issues like invalid contracts, compromised insurance, and difficulties ensuring the crew's rights.
For the sake of argument, let’s assume everything you said here is accurate.
And none of it would justify treating those boats or their occupants as armed combatants, subject to targeting on site without any warning or need to demonstrate hostile intent.
And if they’re not able to be classified as enemy combatants, then the extra-judicial killing of them on-site for criminal acts (smuggling drugs) without any due process is nothing short of murder.
And I’m not even worried about drug smugglers, per se. I worry about the precedent these legal opinions set.
What’s to keep democrats in 2050 from declaring MAGA “domestic terrorists” subject to targeting?

Their bosses are labeled terrorists working for said terrorists makes you guilty by association therefore a valid target. Think every enemy kill in the Middle East was wearing a uniform?

Of course muslims could count on another muslim to remove enhanced interrogation techniques against muslim terrorists.
