Because they need a spotlight on "gun violence" in an effort to curtail (and ultimately repeal) the Second Amendment.
Notice that nobody gave a frick about inner city violence until they got the slick rebranding of "mass shootings". Once that little marketing trick was applied, you began to hear about every inter-gang squabble that resulted in gunplay in Chicago, Philly, etc.
They want to act like guns are the problem, because the alternative is to focus on the real issue which is the culture of violence and lawlessness that practically rules Black America.

The FBI knows about these people, and does nothing.
The FBI knew about Jerry Nassar (more than 300 sexual assault victims), and did nothing.
The FBI knew that hunter Biden’s laptop was real, and did nothing.
The FBI spoke of an insurance policy concerning trump.
They are the enemy of the people. If the military took its oath seriously, they’d dismantle these crooks and punish them as the treasonous pos that they are.

Did you ever notice how in damn near every case they were guys that were let off easy by the courts or that signs of mental illness were ignored? We have a law enforcement issue and a mental health issue in this country. The commies want to blame guns when it is the lack of enforcement of existing laws and dumb judges that are the cause. This guy was on the FBI list. But the FBI has more important things to do like harass parents, Trump supporters and basketball coaches.

This is what happens when you raise children without teaching them right from wrong or telling them no. It's compounded by the fact that the government and media is out there trying to make your child as vapid and useless as possible.

You really do not want to give the police the discretion to determine mental health and commit people. This is a well established practice in communist countries to arrest political dissidents as mentally unstable.

Two years of isolation and lock downs were very harmful to a lot of young people who already lived on the fringe of society.
Add into that the long term effects of over prescription of psychotropic medications and the general cultural rot we have allowed and enabled.

You have a symbiosis between the media and the shooters. The media wants to sell clicks on sensational news and push a left-narrative against guns, so they heavily publicize the shootings.
The shooters and potential shooters want attention and notoriety for their crimes in response to being marginalized and bullied by their family and peers for 10+ years. The media gives it to them in spades.
This is a sick cycle that will continue to repeat itself.

It's a whole mix of things. Media. Government. I think psych meds play a big part. We used to lock nuts like these away. Now we give them 30 days of meds and tell them they're a normally functioning person and set them loose into society. When they get off their meds, they get weird.
