The people "to blame" are at the top and have NOT CHANGED over the last 100+ years. Nobody you listed is "at the top".
If you want to turn a country where people pull guns on bank robbers and try to shoot them in the back as they ride out of town with the loot, into a nation where the stupid citizens want these citizens arrested because it "wasn't any longer self defense", you can't do it overnight or you would be lynched.
You have to do it slowly. And that is what has been happening for over 100 years! The goal, is your enslavement. Enslaved to a small handful of people at the top.

The public school system for indoctrinating its students and creating its voters. The pulpits of mainline churches for first falling silent and then falling into apostasy. The Republicans for allowing the Overton window to be shifted this far left. Countless suburban parents who tolerated the ideology behind not keeping score in little league.

This is an excellent point and yes I have. I decided a couple years back that while I can't stop the media from spouting their false narratives and bullshite I sure as hell don't have to pay for it.

Identity politics.They really don't care about middle America or working class Americans.They've pretty much given up even trying to appeal to those voters except for suburban white women.
