But he’s right so that meme isn’t relevant

Trump has a long track record of picking establishment jokers who eventually turn on him

Love the man’s fight, passion and most of his ideas but his judgement on hires and endorsements is super spotty

Who did you vote for from 2000-2016?

Be honest.

I don’t have a purity test or requirement.

I’ll take the least among those that you have named or can name over a Schiff, Swalwell, Pelosi, Squad idiot, etc.

There are better, sure. But, I don’t look to ANY of these Fed jackasses for much. I wish FED GOV was so small I almost could pay it scant attention at all.

Well said, not ripping the OP per se, but the whole “Trump did this one thing, he is unelectable” mindset has to stop.

As mentioned, if Ron gets the Nod, I am all in. But Trump showed us the way.

I've disagreed with Trump on many issues, but he's a LEADER and our country is infested with POLITICIANS.

You have a pool full of politicians, floating around like turds. Who do you choose?
Anybody who chose to go into a life of politics, they are dirt, you have to choose from that pool.

Did Trump withdraw his endorsement of Mo Brooks out of spite?

The DC swamp is so packed full that it is hard to get the GOPe out. Not every endorsement will be perfect. You have to go down the line of who is actually running and set up to run finding MAGA.

Or sometimes finding some with a touch of MAGA more over the next. Or how they voted for issues or the sham impeachments.

Put on your thinking-cap. It isn't so cut and dry.

Read this...

Midterm Republicans turn to Youngkin playbook by shunning Trump

Donald Trump’s endorsement may have helped a number of Republican candidates get through their midterm primaries this year — but some may now be wary of the former president's continued involvement.

Trump has reveled in what he describes as a highly successful endorsement track record. On Wednesday, he boasted of another Senate primary win in Alabama with the victory of his candidate, Katie Britt.

His endorsement of Britt came after a stunning reversal, however. Deeming his original pick, Rep. Mo Brooks, insufficiently committed to his quest to relitigate the 2020 election, Trump withdrew his endorsement of Brooks in March and later threw his backing behind Brooks's opponent.

DISCONTENT WITH TRUMP? SOME IN GOP MULL BENEFITS OF A FRESH FACE

Britt’s win Tuesday with Trump’s backing illustrates a danger for the candidates now distancing themselves from Trump for the general election: that crossing Trump can come at a cost.

“Anybody who won with Trump’s endorsement has to be very cautious about the way in which they move away from him, lest he become their foe,” Charles Lipson, political science professor emeritus at the University of Chicago, told the Washington Examiner.

LINK
The GOPe were slick with Youngkin.

The GOPe afforded Youngkin his win because they called out the FBI fake racist militia garbage. As well as did not allow the democrats to count mail in ballots for 3 days after election day until dems won.

They never afforded Trump this. And they used Youngkin to literally say his win was a stepping stone for Pence. It failed.

The GOP will dump Trump like a red headed wart faced step child the closer we get to midterms. Then they will declare THEY won the majority as they are so low in approval ratings they match Biden.

FRICK THE GOPe. Frick all of the GOPe neverTrump tricks. The GOP are sneaky POS, included McCarthy.

I hope turtle's replacement Thune falls flat on his face.

What a crock of big fly attracting shite.

As if the GOPe don't target those that move away from the Turtle Caucus. Or blackmail them with status and a committee seat Chairmanship.

They are so full of a bag of GOPe tricks this year. Some dumbasses don't see them coming.

How MFing sick are they to now say Trump may see if you are MAGA and possibly cut future endorsements. So they just want them to cross over to the dark side of the Turtle cuck Dem GOPe caucus.

Yes. His ego gets in the way of logic and what is best for the country quite often. He has conned all of mouth breathers on this board that he is some kind of super conservative when he is in fact an ex-dem snake oil salesman that puts Trump before America.
