Exclude Winston (Alejandro) and his nonsense two year troll.

I want people who were legit about Trump early.

Because you know why? We, and this country, are winning bigly!!!!!

I watched Trump on Piers Morgan last night.
I'm not a Donald "guy" , haven't watched his show, and am generally "-meh-" towards his schtik.
It's obvious he is running for POTUS.
I would classify his diagnosis as AMERICAN DECLINISM and his cure as ECONOMIC NATIONALISM.
A bit like Pat Buchanon, but without the "culture warrior" baggage.
I was really surprised how much I agreed with him.
He wants to play economic hardball with China, Opec & others.
He's hit a particular strain of POPULIST thought that is sweeping the American Zeitgeist.
And I really think his message could resonate at this EXACT moment in American History.
Thoughts from the Peanut Gallery ?

Rand Paul from the start and still want him around, but he’s best in Congress.

Trump is the shot in the arm that the party and the country needed. He’s alpha AF and by the end of his first term, there will have been so much corruption exposed (unwillingly by special investigators) that it’ll leave a long lasting wake in the Old Establishment.

I was not. I'm a big Ron Paul guy, so I was 100% behind Rand Paul as a candidate. After Rand dropped out, I was fortunate enough to attend a Ted Cruz rally in my town and get to meet him and speak with him. It really changed my opinion of Cruz and caused me to get behind him.

I saw, in Trump, what Tx Tiger still believes: that Trump was an agent of the establishment sent to hijack and destroy the anti-establishment movement. He was there to take all of the oxygen out of the room from insurgent candidates like Rand and Cruz, say stupid things to make conservatives look like the caricatures liberals describe them as (stupid, bigoted, arrogant, misogynist, etc), and then implode and disappear. However, the anti-establishment movement was so strong that the only candidates left were him and Cruz.

I simply did not believe Trump was genuine during the campaign. I was so disgusted by his words and style that I voted for Gary Johnson in the general election.

However, Trump has really surprised me (in a good way) since the election. He seems to really be earnestly delivering on his promises and watching him troll the media is just too much fun. I was not MAGA from the beginning, but I put on my coat long ago.

ETA: I still believe that both Rand Paul and Ted Cruz would make great presidents and even better SCOTUS judges.

I was on the Trump train as soon as he came down and announced his candidacy. This train has had no brakes since we pulled out the station

I got my coat and seat on the train very early. I was working out of state during the primary in Louisiana and didn't vote. I was split between Trump and Cruz.

It became very obvious to me halfway through the primaries that Trump was gonna win, and I was all MAGA.

Good to see so many who realized what we needed!

What an 8 year ride we about to have

But just remember how ‘crazy’ we were to think this could happen

I was not and decided very late to vote for him because I did not want Hillary and Supreme Court. I have won bigly on those alone. All the other positives are fricking cake eating bonanza.
