I don’t see it that way. You can define a prosecutor’s job as something like “seek justice” or “keep communities safe” or whatever, but just “winning” has never been the proper role Bc it implies guilt or innocence mean nothing.
A good prosecutor—a good human—would have never even brought this case to trial or would at least drop the charges now.
