Who else thinks there is no way China could successfully invade Taiwan?

Over 100 miles of ocean.
I don't see this as possible. It would be a humiliating defeat, even if the US sat it out.
They could probably saturate the island will missle strikes, but that would be a pr nightmare and would accomplish nothing.
Am I missing something? Or is all this talk of a Chinese invasion within this decade just nonsense?

Like they are doing right now.... it’s a soft invasion. Slowly buy influence and strong arm them into submission. Just like Hong Kong.

China's military is almost exclusively designed for Taiwan. Other than that they wouldn't have much luck given how many of their neighbors despise them outside of North Korea.

I know this much, the Indians despise the Chinese, which makes for a great opportunity.

If they did bomb Taiwan they should send a letter to trump declaring they bombed Taiwan. When trump announces it the MSM and Democrats will absolutely call it a right wing conspiracy theory

Chy-nah has almost 1 BILLION people. They will use as many people a they need to invade. Right now they are building their military. When they finish, it will not be pretty.

It’s less than 100. Narrowest it is is 81 miles from each coast. You really think that’s going to stop the Chinese. Ships can make 2 or 3 trips between Taiwan and Mainland China a day. That’s supposed to be a deterrent, especially when their air force and missiles can make it there many more times than that?
