Have a small business, I have to keep working. There is no unemployment for me. I work or not, is a matter of survival. They can kiss my arse, been doing this for four years and just starting to get a good name recognition and referrals. I will keep working as long as its there.

Point out the part that says the Patriot Act is a freedom.

Same here. Still go into the office a couple of times per week. Only thing I haven’t done is eat/drink at my regular places and work out at the gym. Been getting the work out done at the park with some minimal equipment.

No, the Patriot Act obviously isn't a freedom. It is an example of how we let ourselves be frightened into giving up our freedom to the government.

I can't cite any examples of freedoms being permanently lost to COVID yet because the government hasn't given any freedom back. We will lose something though, it happens every single time there is a major event.

Sure you can. Just because it might not be permanent doesn't mean you can't give examples of what the hell you're talking about.

So far we have "Patriot Act" and "read the First Amendment." Neither will cut it.

Telling citizens what they can/can’t do
Requiring a small business make employees wear masks
Check points
Deciding what is necessary business
Quarantine for healthy people

There’s more but I need to get to work at my small business

I’ll add that mandatory vaccinations are gaining mass support.

I go to the grocery a couple times a week, and walk 4 or 5 miles a day for exercise. No masks. Haven't been sick or seen anybody who was apparently sick.

- Telling citizens they can't drive drunk
- Requiring a small business have handicap access
- Border check points
- Deciding what is permitted business based on location

All things that we accept every day independent of a global pandemic, and all things that aren't generally considered an attack on freedom.

Freedom of Assembly

Freedom to worship as I see fit

Freedom of speech - on various social media platforms to share “unapproved” information on COVID

From the preamble to the Constitution - “promote the general welfare.” I had a customer break down in tears because she can’t make a living. “Secure the blessings of Liberty” - we are not free to do as we please right now.

Freedom of the Press - The Chinese have too much control. So much so that there is no freedom to insure impartial reporting.

2nd Amendment - Libtard Mayors such as Latoya are restricting gun sales during the plannedemic.

4th Amendment - Unreasonable Searches - all of your electronic devices are spying on you.

5th Amendment - “shall not be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law”
Enjoy your home prison cell.

8th Amendment - no excessive fines. Have you heard that Texas is fining people $1000 for not wearing a mask in public? Is this true?

14th Amendment, Section 1 - States can’t take away your rights. Look at most blue states right now.

Amendment 15 - The right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged. Suspend the election?

Im no lawyer, but I came with 12.

I can't give an example of something that hasn't happened yet. Everybody else seems to know what the hell I'm talking about. I'm ok with you not getting it.

The Patriot Act is an undisputable example of how the government uses catastrophic events to further impinge our freedom. Google it, this is well documented.

Incredible the businesses and lives that are being destroyed in front of our eyes. If the masses were not getting the government cheese in the extra 600/week fed unemployment there would be civil unrest. Don't be shocked with how many businesses fold and places to eat shrink.

"Everyone else" (two people) is contradicting your assertion that you can't give examples.

This is a bullshite answer. If you can't explain how it applies to your point succinctly, don't bring it up.

The Constitution says nothing about a great number of things.

I'll wait for you to make a point.

Who put you in charge of my fricking conversation?

Look it up, I'm not doing it for you. You wanted an example, and I gave it. I'm not writing a dissertation for you.
