Henson Moore running for congress.to replace Robert Rarick.
Ran against democrat Jeff Lacaze a local sports caster. The first general was ruled to close to call and they had a do over. Moore won by like 30,000. 1974 I believe.

Edwards
Duke
Had to go with Edwards.
Yikes. Thankfully I was too young, so I didn't have to participate in that freaking clown show.
That's gotta be the roughest governor's ballot in American history.

I voted for Bush Sr. in the 1988 election. I was 20 years old without a clue.

1971. I was 20 and recently enfranchised by the 26th Amendment. I voted for J. Bennett Johnston in Louisiana's Democratic Primary for Governor.
My first Presidential election was 1972. Don't blame me, I voted for McGovern.

I turned 18 in 1978, don't remember the first election I voted in.
I do remember the first Presidential election I voted in, and I voted for good old Ronnie Reagan.

Who did yall cast your vote for the first time you voted?
1992 Ross Perot
The line that got me:
"I don't know anything about politics, I also don't know anything about running up a 4 Trillion dollar debt"
and the famous
"I'm all ears"
Even then, I had a passion for less spending, responsible government... My friends kept telling me to vote for Bush because I was going to help Clinton win the election

Ross in Presidential debate
Debate with Al Gore
I think the Old man knew what he was talking about...
Has anything changed that Al was promising?

I'm at the age that I'm more concerned on who I will cast my last vote for.
