I've been doing a lot of reading lately in early 20th century history, roughly up to the end of WWII. The list of people from that era who changed the world (for good or for bad) is impressive:

Albert Einstein
Mahatma Gandhi
The Wright Brothers
Vladimir Lenin
Winston Churchill
FDR
Adolf Hitler
Joseph Stalin
Mao Zedong
Nikola Tesla
Marie Curie
Enrico Fermi
Neils Bohr
Pablo Picasso
Henry Ford
Muhammad Ali Jinnah

Who are the people of today who will be remembered like that 50 years from now? I can think of a few: Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, Elon Musk. Maybe Osama bin Laden, and Pablo Escobar. Who else?

Obama.

He will be remembered, fondly by some, abhorrently by others, as the one that began the fundamental transformation of the US government into a socialist, repressive arm of a globalist authoritarian order.

It is a whole new chapter in the American Experiment. A wholesale, fundamental shift from previous chapters. There’s no going back.

Collectively:

Richard Burr
Bill Cassidy
Susan Collins
Lisa Murkowski
Mitt Romney
Ben Sasse
Pat Toomey

These seven set the scene for a political revolution in the US.

Not directly to me but indirectly to me so therefore...

He fundamentally altered the instruments of power of the US government on a scale unseen before him. For example, when he arrived the National Security Council had approximately 25 staff members; when he left, there were around 75. He stocked it with people of a certain mindset, ideology, and view. And when he left, they stayed. They still maintained influence and direction. They became part of the permanent machine.

He did similar actions with the nsa, the cia, the fbi, the irs, the state dept, the DOJ, etc etc.

He laid the foundation that made what we are seeing now, and what we will continue to see: the fundamental transformation of the US government and its place within a world order.
