I don’t hate Trump or any human being. What I hate is hypocrisy, and this tenure has been absolutely drenched in it.

People spent years posting 800-thread rants about Hunter Biden selling mediocre art and supposedly cashing in on his father’s presidency. Yet those same people don’t blink at the billions the Trump family and their orbit have siphoned off in broad daylight.

Trump and his circle spent an entire campaign promising to “release the files,” only to get into office and suddenly declare the whole thing a “Democratic hoax.”

He campaigned on making America affordable again, but prices and inflation have only climbed. Then he pivoted and claimed that “affordable” itself is some kind of Democratic invention.

He branded himself the “President of Peace,” warning that voting for anyone else would plunge us into conflict with Iran. He said the only reason we had global issues was because no one knew how to make a deal—and that on day one he’d end the Ukraine war, fix Iran, fix everything.

Now we’re staring down near-war conditions, zero deals in sight, and his base still finds a way to rationalize every broken promise.

And the tariffs—remember “90 deals in 90 days”?
Where are they? What we do have are higher prices and a system where we now owe companies back for the tariff money they already pocketed.

Dodge checks? Saving trillions?

No income tax because tariffs would cover everything?

No taxes on overtime?

None of it happened. Not one major promise materialized. What has materialized is the Trump family’s growing net worth and a parade of vanity projects designed to cement his name and image everywhere.

That’s what I hate---not the man, but the gap between what was promised and what was delivered, and the way people twist themselves into knots pretending it’s all fine.


I guess I need to add in the worship as well. It hurts me how many times I have seen Trump cult members claim Trump is the closest thing to God or some variant. That is terrifying.
