Gas Stamps....

The government bribing people with their own money to bump the diving poll numbers. Kinda sad and pathetic.

So let me get this straight…
They have no problem whatsoever with sending every American THOUSANDS of dollars because of Covid, regardless of whether or not they lost their job…
BUT
Balk at the idea of sending Americans gas money to help cover the actual REAL impact to EVERY American caused by the record high gas prices that this administration caused??
I can’t figure this administration out. I just can’t, for the life of me, make sense of their decisions.
To be clear, I don’t think it’s a good idea either but at least these gas prices are affecting every American. Not everyone lost their job because of Covid. I’ll be fine, my wife and I make more than enough money to cover the increases. I’m not happy about it, but we’ll be fine in my household. Not everyone is lucky enough to be able to say that though. Hell, it cost me almost $70 to fill up my Honda Accord this weekend. A fricking Honda Accord!!! I can’t imagine what all these truck nuts baws and suburban-driving soccer moms are experiencing.

Increase demand while supply is low, that is certainly a democrat move if I’ve ever seen one.

wouldn’t remotely fix the issue much less put a dent it.
This isn't their goal. They just need to look like they are doing something to help their polling numbers go up.

Elections have consequences.

The solution to any problem is never an actual solution when Marxists are in charge.
The answer to any problem is “more Marxism”.
The actual solution would be to loosen regulations, drop moratoriums, and let the private sector generate gasoline (and wealth). But the Marxist answer subtracts from wealth rather than creating it.

Biden wouldn't know how to fix a goddamn thing if someone didn't do 100% of the work for him. So, it remains broken until there's an adult back in charge.

That’s exactly right. They know it’s a stupid economic move but don’t care.
Their policies created all the problems here and the war in Ukraine.

Probably sent them to Ukraine instead.

Ethanol? Really?
Ethanol is a net zero at BEST.
At worst, it not only destroys an engine / fuel line but also spikes corn prices at a time when we are about to have less food to go around than normal.

Take that $14B we are wasting on Ukraine.

Cut the gas tax to create an illusion of lower cost meanwhile you don't have money to build or repair roads so we need more dollars in Build Back Better OR:
Build Keystone, expedite permitting, produce more oil and lower prices.
When they have a choice of doing the right thing or the wrong thing, they choose the wrong thing every time.
