Yeah, you are right. Muhammad Ali had no reason to loathe white devils.
Please
Imagine for a moment not being able to eat where you want, not being able to sit where you want on a bus. Imagine for a moment a legal system overtly biased against people because of their skin color. Imagine for a moment not being able to go to school with white children. Imagine for a moment people being lynched because of their skin color. Those were the times in which he was raised.

He wasn't very bright. People made excuses for him. Basically a piece of shite.

So all white people supported this? Didn't white people end it as well?
Why was he a racist piece of shite towards Frazier?

There are all kinds of reasons people of one race loathe people of other races. Whites aren't the only so-called devils when it comes to racism. Ali was no more special than you and me considering his racist views.
You need to quit apologizing for the white's treatment of blacks back then. If it's still happening on a grand scale nowadays then you just might have a point but it's not happening so your point is rather moot.

You all do realize the racist times that Muhammad Ali was raised in, don't you? Lynchings, Separate but equal/Jim Crow, KKK.
Good advice.
Does this apply to legal slaveowners of the antebellum South? Confederate soldiers and oficers?

President Bush served honorably in the Air National Guard. He was not a draft dodger.
I cannot understand why you liberals always seem to want to give Bill Clinton an exemption on his draft dodging, yet crucify anyone not a Democrat over it.

They were friends for years. Trump invited Ali to his second wedding. So again I will ask - do you think our president is a liar or just dumb about Ali or maybe Ali "pivoted" later in life as he grew up and became less angry and resentful.

I am not apologizing. Nor will I ever. I am stating that's the way it was with racism against blacks during the times Ali was raised. It is a fact and not an exaggerated fact. .
It's funny and predictable that the vast majority on this board will rail on him for his past views against white people which were clearly a function of racism against blacks during those times. But let someone bring up racism against blacks during the 40's , 50's, and 60's and best type of response you will see here is "That was terrible. But that was a long time ago. Get over it. "

And likely became less angry and resentful because times were changing.

Try that line of reasoning about the bad Muslims and see how that flies here.
Shirley, you can't be saying that the black people should have been more understanding of the racism.
There were a lot of people during those times who did not hold the same racist beliefs and thought badly of those practices .

This is never a valid consideration for today's history revisionists. Racist is racist. He must go now. You'd truly better hope he never uttered any anti-immigrant or homophobic lines.

When he said this most white people were acting like white devils. So he was right.

So if I'm stationed in your driveway, kicking the dog shite out of your daughter's puppy, we're ok with calling me a bad guy. However, once I cease said action, in sick twisted world, I should be labeled liberator and hero?

Who cares. I live in Louisville, and all he ever was to me was another pro athlete. He has no relevance outside of that to me, and I could care less what he believed, said, or thought. I don't lose sleep from him being worm food.

So you're saying a member of the Nation of Islam hates whites?
I'm outraged.
