thats all fine and good until the independents and Pro- EU factions join the fight because they cant pay their light bill
I said that earlier. Let me know when a real party starts this talk, because right now it's fringe or anti-EU groups.

You can dismiss it as “anti-EU,”
I mean they literally are. Want me to provide evidence?

Europe isn't the US, bubba. They don't have Team A and Team B and polarity among those 2 groups.

but it doesn’t mean it’s not happening.
Sure. Minority, anti-establishment groups are being opportunistic, politically.

You're giving very “Some of you may die, but it's a sacrifice I am willing to make” vibes here.
That's the EU. I don't run the EU.

The average European doesn’t actually care that much about Ukrainians if it comes down to a them or us choice.
The average European cares a lot about being part of the EU and all the advantages it has for their daily lives. Russia invading Ukraine to prevent EU integration and then turning their back to get cheaper gas would likely actually fracture the EU.

The longer sanctions are imposed on Russia the more desperate they’ll become with the use of tactical nukes in Ukraine.
Then nukes were an inevitability unless we just appease anything Russia ever wants to do in perpetuity.
You can have some sort of an argument for military intervention or aid, but if you're peeling back the skin ALL the way to sanctions? For an unprovoked invasion of a peaceful neighbor? That dog won't hunt. That's SOP.

Oh I see. In your mind, NATO had nothing to do with this. NATO more than doubles in size, seeks the membership of Ukraine, and you expect Russia to just stand pat.
Frig the most globalist organization of them all, NATO!!

keep one thing in mind, prices were high but they had direct access to Russian gas to stock up - mild protests ensue
prices will go even higher, they will be using their gas inventory and no direct access to Russian gas to replace
let the chips fall where they may

That's cool and all, but backing a mad man with nuclear weapons will have consequences at some point. More innocent people are going to die because of this bull shite.
so the solution is just let him take whatever he wants?
yea that whole idea of appeasement has worked out so well in the past.

Then this should be popular.

The Supreme Commander-in-Chief visited the Western Military District training ground in the Ryazan Region, where he inspected the training of the newly mobilised personnel.
Putin at the training ground in the Ryazan region checked the progress of the training of the mobilized, fired from a sniper rifle and talked to the military

Certainly the alleged sabotage of the active Nord Stream 1 pipeline and the unopened Nord Stream 2 pipeline has shut down two sources of Russian gas, but the EU no longer needs them.
My European colleagues paying 1000% premiums for gas bought at exorbitant prices from US suppliers will be thrilled to hear they have plenty of supply and are just getting price gouged for no reason.

No fricks given.
The bigger question is since the Ukes apparently have this under control can we stop sending money to Zelensky?
