As far as the daily spam focusing on the most inane controversies involving the opposing camp, I would place both camps in a near dead heat.
Yet I lean toward DeSantis’ fanboys as being more obnoxious simply because of their blatant hypocrisy.
Their biggest complaint here is Trump’s fanboys are obsessively devoted to a personality cult and can broker no criticism of their savior while repeatedly displaying the very same fawning devotion to their exalted redeemer.

I think that's the disconnect. Most people consider how people respond to other forum members when they're talking about civility. You take attacks on Trump personally, so any political forum is going to be uncivil by definition.

The civility is irrelevant. It's the fact that every thread with any kind of policy discussion INSTANTLY turns into a "DeSantis will do that, Trump didn't do shite about it in his 4 years" or "DeSantis is an establishment cuck and will let necons run his government" clusterfrick. I would just really like all the bullshite to stay in a few threads. I wish we could have a stickied "talk shite about your opponent's supporter threads and keep the nonsense out of every other thread."

So when you're talking about civility, why mention what someone says about a public figure? When discussing civility I think most people see a fundamental difference between "you suck, frick you" and "DeSantis sucks, frick him". If you don't, you don't.

Sure, find the thread about that hate speech law. I've also said his background isn't ideal, he has unknowns at the federal level and he'll probably lose the primary.
