Because they think it can’t happen here. We have seen representatives from our own party want a database for everyone that didn’t receive the vaccine. We have seen our own representatives do nothing as people that participated in January 6th are held without any charges or due process for years. It not only can happen here, it has. And by our own side too.

Im older. I figure I have 20 or good years if Im lucky. I was born at the perfect time. Got to enjoy the 70s through 90s and now I'll be gone about the time society collapses. I fear for my kids and grandkids. I try to warn them about communism, totalitarianism, and Islamic extremism but they don't seem too worried.

Do you know how trade and economies work?
We can't run our economy with only poor countries buying our goods. We need rich ones.
Also Europe would give China the potential ability to create a counter to USD. If all of our allies we have pissed off since 2025 joint together with China and a few ME countries and India the petro dollar could be in danger. That would be a really bad thing. Currently BRICS is a joke but our strategy in Trump 2.0 seems to be to do everything we can to strengthen its potential as a counter to the US.
