Decided to take one since I haven't done it in a good while. Seems about right

The answers are way too simplistic to gauge an accurate gestalt, but for the sake of brevity, I'm at the furthest right spectrum and about halfway down the libertarian spectrum.

I feel like the esteemed Ludwig von Mises, storming out of the Mount Pelerin Society, declaring, "you're all a bunch of socialists!"

With the exception of MENA, and perhaps Ethiopia, I have very little doubt that Africa would be much better managed under the hands of external governments. We essentially try to do the same through the IMF, World Bank, and various NGOs, we just won't admit that we are trying to fix a clusterfrick of tribalism and superstition. There are some slight success stories, but their trajectory would have been much higher with proper governance.

Probably pretty close. I think I’m a little more to the right economically. There were some questions I’d have liked a “neither agree or disagree” option.

I believe in regulated free enterprise and free markets. I believe in social safety nets for those who TRULY need them. I have compassion for those who get dealt shitty hands. I believe in private property. I believe individual liberty.

I do, too.

The problem with this quiz is that it describes what the State should do, not what your personal moral obligations are.

I put a much, much, much higher standard of behavior and contribution to the needy on myself and my community/church than I do for the government as a whole.

I'm not a heartless bastard, I just don't believe in compassion at gunpoint.
