Did you know every time the US government lowers taxes, tax revenue goes up? This is because, even though they are taking in less pennies on the dollar, people are spending more money. This is the key to a thriving economy and in turn, a thriving society.

The questions are too simplistic in many cases.

I'll believe that and change my entire worldview if you link me to a reputable source showing our historic tax rate vs historic tax revenue. My first source preference would be from the IRS, Dept of Treasury, or Commerce Dept, but if there's a lit review on it summarizing decades of economic thought and emperical data supporting that idea, I'll accept that too. That's too bold of a claim for me to just take at face value though.
