Rand didn't say the author. He said it was a pic of him with the libertarian and the headline as posted.
He got all kinds of grief from twitter and other people that think CNN is actual news.

MSM made their choice to go all in once Trump was elected. They are 'Pravda' in effect, and NOTHING that they 'report' can be trusted...as EVERYTHING they report will be filtered to serve their Transnational Progressive Ideology.

I'm watching CBS Sunday Morning now, but not without a keen sense of suspicion, and discriminatory discipline.

Rand also said the media never reports agreements between GOP and Dem Senators and Congressmen. A lot of times these agreements on bills are not issues of compromise (meaning I'll give halfway and you do the same). They are just issues in which they agree... like criminal justice reform.

He said the one issue that must never be compromised with the Dems is that a lot of them reject the whole concept of capitalism. They are convinced that socialism is the only way to help the poor. They don't realize that the poor have a much nicer life in a capitalist society.

Our media is placed by our very own CIA for nearly 40 years.

Look @ the dem debates they have fully come out of the closet.

CNN & MSNBC hire ex FBI/DOJ/CIA; that should be a huge red flag.

Until the media is stopped and exposed, ironically the USSR and Vlad, and red China are laughing their asses off at us; as they have captured the dems and a lot of R's.

1. The media have been leading the push to turn this Country into a progressive wasteland for a long, long time. At least 30 years and probably longer than that.

2. I think the power of the media has been declining since Reagan has been president.

Now more people laugh at the News than are influenced by it.

The only people influenced by the media are the leftists who also want to live in a progressive wasteland.

Not sure where you get that - I've been following politics since the '60 election and was not concerned about 'media bias' as a serious threat til Reagan's tenure. They were biased yes, but in a much more subtle way - Like when Nixon ran for Gov of CA - they would position themselves to put a destratting background in the news coverage - like having a "Dead End" sign positioned over his head.

Not until Reagan did the "RAY-CISS" era begin where every GOP politician had to answer for every "racist" anecdote they could gin up - openly painting the GOP as RAY-CISS as a matter of fact.

Then came the Obama years when the media just said - "what the hell - les's quit trying to pretend that we're not propaganda"

I sometimes watch those morning cartoons on Fox. They’re entertaining in a perverse sort of way.
