Squatters will be addressed as soon as someone finds and releases Blackrock’s property holdings to illegal aliens
Once a few million illegals squat in their property, it will become the greatest existential crisis facing the nation
This
I do like the idea of homeowners shooting them to death too, if I'm on the jury they're walking away free no matter the evidence
They could present two forms of photo ID to the camera, make a video saying they're going to do it, follow up with a video of them doing it, and confess and I'm still not convinced..AI can make videos of anything after all

Should be a state issue but the feds could make it a federal one if they chose.
I'm curious? How?
What gives the federal government authority over private property in a state

Hell more of a local thing, really.

You will run the risk of a premeditated murder charge.

Congress will back off when they realize most squatters are illegal aliens.

Only if a government is engaging in that behavior.
When it's individuals, this is almost exclusively a local/state issue.

is being pushed a lot now for some reason.
Because some illegal alien piece of shite was taking to social media to teach other parasites how to steal property via invoking squatter's rights.
Swear to Christ, your penchant towards being deliberately obtuse makes me want to believe you're committed to the most earnest trolling attempt on here.

Posting an NPC talking point when I'm asking why these NPC talking points are being pushed now is...a choice.
And this push from those creating these talking points for NPCs started WAY before that video was posted.

I had to change the lock on my front door last year. When can I expect to be arrested? I realize you're just doing your thing but this is all bullshite and you know it

If you had clear legal ownership and occupancy rights, never.

I'm responding to a specific, bad argument made ITT.

Shitty, illogical argument.

Property rights are squarely in the 5th Amendment.

Against government intrusion.
Squatters are private intrusion.
You're going to have to channel your inner Wickard v. Filburn to make isolated leases of property within single jurisdictions to project Congressional authority over these situations.

I just keep thinking that the core reason that groups of people even form government in the first place is for the common defense against others who want to take life, liberty, and property.
If it doesn't perform that core function then it is worthless and needs to be abolished.

That "defense" exists but isn't a Judge Dredd scenario with dumbass LEO. You don't want LEO making split second decisions on property ownership based on almost no data or rules of evidence. This could EASILY flip the other way and be used by squatters to gain even more disruption.
The "defense" is our system of civil courts.
