It took YEARS for the revolutionary war to take place. We have time and the ability to fix things without violence or cheating. We just need to come together. Get rid of incumbents. Pull support from the uni-party. However, 2024 will be our last opportunity to turn this around. If 2024 produces the status quo, our lives will get very ugly.

2024 is completely meaningless. It's over for the USA. We aren't getting it back.

Lol. No it hasn't. No person gets the future they desire. You are making yourself a victim for no reason. Nothing about the country is lost. You are lost. The country and people will move on with or without you.

I am only a victim to my own avarice and weakness. Be assured, we lost this country because of the choices and decisions I made.

Take a breath, cut back on the news and social media.
People were writing the same kind of stuff in your post in the 1800’s and all through the 1900’s.

When Trump was in all the liberals were claiming end of the country. Now conservatives do it. It’s a repetitive cycle.

My god man, are you a megalomaniac? Nothing is occurring because of your choices. You feel the country is lost because you aren't going to see your political goals come to fruition. It's absolutely hilarious you are taking this so hard.

It really seems like there's a growing contingent here that's really hoping for some sort of "civil war"/"Armageddon"/"societal collapse" scenario.

By hoping for I mean borderline masturbates to/writes fanfic about.

It's pretty weird and extremely unpatriotic.

I saw our demise coming from a long way off. You know what I did about it? Nothing.

When my kids ask me how we lost our country, If I tell them the truth, I will tell them I didn't do anything to keep it.

The people just need a leader and a motive.

That’s the issue. We’re all not 20 years old with no job and family. The people who are pissed have responsibilities. Who steps up? Who can travel to cities to protest for days on end?

Who are you going to write? Your representatives? Congressman? The sole people that couldn’t give a shite less about you and will NEVER represent your cause regardless of what platform they ran on and how much they’ve said they have your back? They got elected. They won. That’s all they wanted. They lied to get to where they are and they’re happy as long as they don’t lose that cushy job. You don’t matter. I don’t matter. To any of them.

When the people who are in charge let the inmates run the asylum and ignore the people they’re supposed to listen to, how much can you really do when your hands are tied behind your back?

You're giving yourself waaaaaaayyyyyyy too much credit/blame.

Lol no you didn't.

You would have done nothing regardless. It's not your failing specifically, but there is little incentive to change the country. There is far too much money involved to see anything other than rhetoric.

What an incredibly cringey answer. You aren't the center of the world. You are just a normal dude, who like most people, will never see their political goals met because you don't control any aspect of the political economy. Your biggest mistake was not seeing that to begin with.
